I'm Falicity Nixon, an Australian anthropology student and writer exploring what happens to our sense of identity after major weight loss and reconstructive surgery.

My interest is deeply personal, but the questions extend far beyond my own experiences.

Through my writing and developing research, I explore how we come to recognise ourselves when our bodies have changed, but the experiences that shaped us remain.
